I'll be out of town Feb - June 2003 (or longer) and am planning on subletting my furnished 1BR apartment. It's a gorgeous little apartment in a sweet SoHo neighborhood - BroomeStreet, between Sullivan and Thompson. This is truly one of the loveliest blocks in Soho, with lots of beautiful boutiques, galleries, and of course the Sullivan Street Bakery... The apartment itself is a charming, Parisian-style pied-a-terre, w/ hardwood floors, DSL, DirecTV, lots of books and paintings. Truly a bookworm's dream.

The name is an acronym which comes from the area`s location SOuth of HOuston This neighborhood has restaurants such as Cipriani, Cafe Gitane, Cafe Havana and is walking distance to neighborhoods such as Little Italy, West Village, Chinatown, Tribeca, Noho, Greenwich Village and Union Square. These are within a few blocks any way you go. Mercer Kitchen and Bar 89 are a must visit. Do have the chocolate martini at mercer kitchen and the burger special at Bar 89. Pravda and Balthazar are a second must among Bond, the sushi place on Bond Street.
