I wanted again to thank you for hooking us up with Nirit, it was a pleasure having her stay with us. Now we are in need of someone to take over the same room she occupied this summer. I've recently painted and renovated the room itself, which has a closet, storage compartment above the closet and is furnished with a full-sized bed and a dresser with a hutch. It gets a lot of sunlight and you have a view of the Empire State Building. There is a common area with a sofa, hallway closet, video/dvd library and a 32" screen TV. The apartment is on the 2nd Floor of a walkup on 19th street off 2nd Ave., there are restraunts, delis, laundry, bars, and a Blockbuster all just a short walk around the block. It is near the L train on 14th Street and a short walk to the N/R and 4/5/6 Stations at Union Square.

311 turned out to be a very comfortable arrangement with convenient access to everything but the subway. (That is what taxis are for.) The doormen were friendly and accommodating. The marathon was a hoot. Finished my half in good speed and had a great time.   We'll contact you the next time we come to the city. Hopefully Mark and Anna will still be renting.
